Das erste Special mit Bildern, Diashow und Geschichten über Norwegen, dazu ausgesucht gute Musik aus Norwegen zwischen Rock, Folk, Jazz und anderen Richtungen. Hat höllisch Spaß gemacht die Sendung, danke an alle Hörer. An der Länge der Playlist kann man ungefähr sehen das ich euch eine glatte Stunde vollgetextet haben muss *g* dadurch hat sogar die Musik aus Norwegen bis um halb 5 gereicht. Hitchhike Radio: Die besten 500 Songs aller Zeiten

Im Rolling Stone gab es eine große Beilage über die "Besten Songs aller Zeiten", die auch hier im Forum für Diskussionen gesorgt hat. Eine Jury aus Journalisten, Vertretern der Musikbranche, deutschen und amerikanischen Künstlern (u.a. Brian Wilson, Elvis Costello, Joni Mitchell, Sven Regener, Judith Holofernes und HR Kunze) hat diese 500 besten Songs aller Zeiten gekürt. Selbstverständlich fanden sich an der einsamen Spitze wieder die üblichen Verdächtigen wie die Beatles, die Stones, Bob Dylan, Beach Boys und ähnliche. Es ist eine recht nette Liste geworden, mit vielen Anmerkungen zu den einzelnen Songs und individuellen Bestenlisten von Redakteuren und Künstlern (sehr erstaunlich was so einige Leute hören). Auf jeden Fall war das ganze fundierter und sinnvoller als eine Liste die sich aus schnöden Verkaufszahlen zusammensetzt, und damit garantiert Brechmittelfrei. Die Deutsche unterscheidet sich nur wenig von der US-Ausgabe, es haben nur sehr wenig deutsche Titel einen Platz in dieser Liste bekommen, den höchsten Platz belegen Element of Crime (immerhin auf Platz 54). Wer die 5 Euro für die Ausgabe übrig hatte bekam ein nettes Extra zum Sammeln und Nachschlagen.

Wer die 5 Euro nicht übrig hatte, sich aber trotzdem dafür interessierte, konnte knapp 100 Songs dieser Liste am Freitag zwischen 23 und 5 Uhr auf DBWG Radio hören. Die Top 20 ungekürzt (natürlich am Ende) und davor eine persönliche Auswahl aus den Top 500.

Legalize It - Das Cannabis-Special auf Radio DBWG: über 80 Jahre Cannabisverbot, über 80 Jahre Cannabis in der Musik. Die Geschichte des Hanfverbotes auf DBWG Radio, dazu ausschließlich ausgesuchte Tracks zum Thema des Abends. Ab 23 Uhr bis 2 Uhr, danach gab es bis 5 Uhr morgens Chillout Tracks aus dem Coffeeshop. Allerfeinste Party, schön das die Sendung so viel Interesse gefunden hat. Durch die Zeitumstellung ist mir leider eine Stunde geklaut worden, aber in Anbetracht meines Zustandes am Ende der Sendung war das vielleicht auch ein Segen. Einer der einflußreichsten und imho auch besten Musiker/Songwriter aller Zeiten. Niemand ist so oft gefeiert und bejubelt worden, und gleichzeitig so häufig kritisiert und abgeschrieben. Ein Mann der polarisiert wie kein zweiter in der Geschichte der Popmusik, entweder man liebt ihn oder haßt ihn. Ich hab versucht in etwas über 2 Stunden diesen Mann und seine Songs etwas näher vorzustellen. Das Gipfeltreffen der drei Sonnen des algerischen Rai - Rachid Taha, Khaled und Faudel. Mit einer 20köpfigen Band, darunter Hossam Ramzi an den Percussions sowie die Tourband der 98 David Bowie Tournee, dazu zwei Streichorchester (eines aus Ägypten und eines aus Frankreich) live am 26. September 98 im Palais Omnisports Paris vor fast 15.000 Zuschauern.In Deutschland wurde 1, 2, 3 SOLEILS mit dem Preis der Schallplattenkritik ausgezeichnet. In Frankreich ist das Album ein Riesenerfolg und dort nicht nur als CD und Kassette, sondern auch auf VHS und DVD erschienen. In Deutschland gibt es nur eine abgespeckte Version mit einer CD, hier im Radio gab es das ganze Konzert.
Danach ab ca. 3 Uhr bis Sendeschluss Oriental Space(d) Night mit Chill und Zappelmusik. Traditionell, Rock und Elektronik, haupsächlich mit orientalischen Einflüssen und Klängen.
